About

Hello, I’m Flaminia.

I aim to make nutrition practical and personal: advice should fit your life, your goals and the way you want to feel.

Portrait of Flaminia

01My story

Food is culture, pleasure and connection. It’s also fuel.

I’m Flaminia, an Italian-Australian nutrition professional. I studied Human Nutrition Science at Deakin University.

My approach brings together evidence-based nutrition science, the Mediterranean way of eating I live and breathe, and an Australian perspective shaped by sport, fitness and wellbeing. My areas of focus include sports nutrition, nutrition support related to eating disorders, disease prevention, and nutrition for healthy ageing and longevity.

I’m also a certified Pilates instructor.

02Two food cultures

The best of both tables.

From Italy & the Mediterranean

Seasonal produce, unhurried shared meals and the idea that good food is one of life’s real pleasures. The Mediterranean way of eating is also one of the most widely studied dietary patterns in nutrition science.

From Australia

An everyday culture of being outdoors and active, a curiosity about wellbeing, and a practical, evidence-based approach to health and performance.

Together, they shape an approach that’s practical, generous and grounded in evidence.

03What I believe

A few things I hold to.

  1. 01

    Eating well matters

I believe eating well can play an important role in supporting health, physical and mental wellbeing, and feeling your best at every stage of life.

  2. 02

    Realistic and personalised

My approach is to help each person find a realistic, personalised way of eating that supports their goals and can become part of everyday life for the long term.

  3. 03

    It should reflect you

Each plan should reflect the person: their health needs, food preferences, culture, routine and goals.

  4. 04

    Practical, personal, sustainable

Nutrition guidance should be practical, personal and sustainable.

  5. 05

    Suited to how you eat

Support is suitable for a range of dietary patterns, including vegetarian and vegan diets.

Let’s find what works for you.

Tell me a little about what you’re looking for. There’s no obligation, just a chance to see whether working together feels right.
